About Squeak Relief
We provide scheduled, preventative maintenance and visual fire-safety inspections of doors and windows in communal areas, including flat entrance doors, garages, bin stores and outbuildings where the freeholder (or RMC) is responsible.
Our operatives lubricate and clean “moving parts” (hinges, handles, bolt/latches, locks, door closers), tighten accessible screws, where possible, and carry out visual inspections of fire doors checking the operation of door closers, condition/presence of intumescent seals and door labels (e.g. FD30; FD30S).
Further, we check fire-exit signage, emergency lighting, call points, smoke vents, control panels including alarm-control panels, switches and sockets.
Depending upon your requirements work is followed by a written and photographic report identifying defects and/or compliance issues requiring attention.
